Saudi

A Saudi company is reported to have recently concluded a deal for
the purchase of $250,000 worth of mobile phone equipment, produced
by Israels Sygnet Technologies International (STI) firm. The
transaction will be carried out through a third company, based in
Western Europe, that distributes STIs products internationally,
Globes reported.
Despite the mounting regional tensions, an order was placed with
STI to supply the Saudis with 12,000 radiation-safe headsets for
cellular telephones. The deal was struck following Sygnets
participation in the international CeBIT exhibition in Hanover,
Germany, in mid-March.
STI develops advanced products for the cellular phone market. Its
mobile headsets prevent exposure to cellular radiation and are sold
under the name RadFree AirWave Headsets for $20 each, about one-fifth
the price of competing wireless headsets.
While in regular headset, the wires may act as a conductor and
still transmit a portion of the radiation to the users head,
Sygnet headsets eliminate replace the wire with an air tube, thus
reducing conductivity and radiation exposure. Sygnet Technologies
International Ltd. is a majority-owned company of the Jerusalem-based
Sygnet Technologies Ltd. (menareport.com)
