Alhamdullah, Heba Labadi has won her freedom after 40 days on hunger strike. She survived 35 days of torture, with torture sessions lasting 20 hours a day for the first 16 days. She did not succumb, and refused to sign their false confessions. So they caged her without a charge or trial for 79 days in their worst dungeons. Yet she beat them, returning home to Jordan a free woman, smiling with a defiant victory sign. Heba's first act was to hug her mother and father and her first words were to praise God for her freedom.
We want to thank all campaigners who fought for her freedom.
